The "Memories" project will be present at 29th Alzheimer Europe Conference

The INTERREG project "Memories" (Herinneringen) will be present on the 29th Alzheimer Europe Conference, which will take place in The Hague between 23rd and 25th of October 2019.

This conference aims to to bring together people with dementia, their families, volunteers and staff from Alzheimer associations together with policy makers, health and social care professionals, researchers and  industry representatives from all over Europe and beyond..

The conference is a great opportunity for dementia experts to meet, learn from one another and share knowledge and experiences. This year they will meet and share experiences under the motto ‘Making valuable connections’. Connectivity is key when it comes to dementia. Whether it refers to connecting brain cells, developing relationships between persons with dementia and their families and friends, living in a dementia-friendly society, having access to volunteers and local services, connecting with the help of technology and online platforms, building powerful networks of regional dementia care or collaborating with academic research centers and industrial partners.

We have succesfully submitted an abstract and poster, so our project will be presented there. The title is : "Application of toxicologic approaches to develop a test for diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease before it strikes".
